  1. Question #1 -
If I were President Obama I would be black. I would wage war on Canada. I would wage war Just because their flag is a leaf. I would propose legislation stating that anyone without a home would be sent to Canada once it was conquered. For my final act before impeachment I would buy jet packs for all the soldiers in our army.

  2. Question #4 -
If I went to a desert island and could take one book, one music CD, and one DVD, I would take these things for no reason. It seems I could only take a book since I don't have a CD or DVD player those things would useless. I would take the Lord of the Rings book, the entire trilogy in one book. I would take a random CD and DVD so that if anyone else is on this desert island we can play frisbee. That is all.

  3. Question #5 -
You know someone is a true friend when they do really nice things for you for no apparent reason. Some things true friends do are give you rides to places you want to go. They get you Starbucks™ so you can start your day off right. They let you go after the girl first if you both like her. True friends remember your birthday without looking on Facebook™. Finally true friends are always there for you when you need them most, no matter what time or place.

    1. Question #1 - Interesting proposition. I'm telling John.

Question #4 - All wrong David. You take a book on how to make a CD/DVD player out of materials found on a deserted island, and then bring the Lord of the Rings DVD's and the Pokémon CD. Duh.

Question #5 - Totally adorable bro, but agreed, that's pretty much what a friend is.

  4. #1.Most on the things that I would try do as president, Obama is already trying to solve. I would try lower the country unemployment rate, end the war, get the economy out of debt, etc…
#4. If I went to a desert island I would take my cell phone. I would take my cell because I can access the Internet on it (if there service), call someone for help, they could use my cell phone to track me, etc.…
#5. I guess someone is a true friend, when they are there for you no matter what. They will always have your back, through thick or thin.

    1. #1: Essentially yeah, I bet that's what everyone wants in the end, right? Any ideas on what he or the next president could do to strive for these goals?

#4: I don't think you read the question carefully enough?

#5: It seems I kind of said the same thing you did, oops ha. But yeah, true friends are hard to come by, so we gotta stick by the ones we got.

    2. #1 - Are you sure there are no policies you disagree with? Anything different than what Barack is doing right now? It seems there might be something else you want to see done.

#4 - I agree with Laksh, there was no mention of a cell phone in the question. This sounds like a easy way out.

#5 - That's totally right Deandra, true friends are always there and always got your back! Well put.

    3. #1 How exactly would lower the unemployment rate, end the war, and the get the economy out of debt? I’m sure if it were easy these problems would have already been solved.

#2 lol If your on a desert island I don’t think you would have cell or internet service

#3 Very true , you always find out who your real friends are when you go through hard times. The ones that are there for you are true friends and the ones that fall to the wayside aren’t.

    4. 1. How would you get us out of the war? and the unemployment rate is a great idea but how much would you lower it?

      2. I would bring my cell phone to.. even if there isn't service there. i am starting to wonder if my phone is like my security blanket lol

      3. I like your definition of a true friend it is simple but so true "thick or thin"

  5. Q#1: This is kind of a hard question; I myself don't know a whole lot of the world of politics, but I am currently enrolled in a politics class, so let's hope that changes. The only thing that comes to mind straight away is better border patrol. Fences aren't exactly working...

Q#4: Best question ever. As for my book, I'd probably take Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Yeah, yeah, generic book answer, but it's really the only books I can read over and over. There are books I've read that I definitely enjoyed a LOT more (like the Pendragon series or The Hunger Games), but I would need something I could over and over. As for a music CD, that's tough, because there aren't really too many albums that I can listen to over and over. Best I can do is narrow it down to a few choices; Breathe Carolina's "Hell Is What You Make It", Coldplay's "Parachutes", Jimmy Eat World's "Bleed American", Lights' "Siberia", Maroon 5's "Hands All Over", Savage Garden's "Affirmation", Skillet's "Comatose", or Three Days Grace's "One-X". Best I can do, ha. As for the DVD, either "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", "300", "X-Men Origins: Wolverine", or "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest". I'm no good with making decisions...

Q#5: For me, I would know if someone was a good friend if I can see them by my side in 10 years. Someone's a good friend when they take it as a personal insult when someone does something to threaten or anger you. Someone's a good friend when they're essentially family.

    1. Well, well, well. I find your answer for question number four to be very good. I like you choice in music. Some of your music is...eghh. But over all good taste. I can see you aren't good at making decisions. You choice in movies seems to be typical Laksh kind of movies. I bet if you were to take Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest to the island, after watching it you would try to act like a pirate on the island. (you know you would! don't deny it. ha.) Something that I found interesting about your answer is that you chose to take Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince book, but not the movie. I wonder why???

  6. Question #1: This is a hard question.... I'm not really 'politically educated', but I would find ways to provide more jobs for American's that are unemployed. I'm not really sure.
Question #4: The book I would take would be Just Listen by Sarah Dessen (or Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson). The CD I would take would either be The Black Parade or Danger Days, both by My Chemical Romance or Fallen by Evanescence. The DVD I would take would be Easy A or The Princess Bride.
Question #5: Someone is a true friend when they stick with you through the thick and thin, and they stand up for you and stand by your side in the toughest of moments. A true friend is someone you feel comfortable around and you can be yourself around, someone who listens and gives advice. And yes, they get you Starbucks. :P

  7. Question #1
I don’t know a lot about politics but if I were President Obama I would keep doing what I’m doing. So far in his first term his done great things and I’m pretty sure his coming back for a second. But if I had to do something better I would create more jobs.

    Question #4
For my book I would take a huge encyclopedia because its full of information and things that’s nice to now. For my CD I would take, Take care. For my DVD I would probably take is Forrest Gump or The Ring and the second one.

    Question #5
You know someone is a true friend when if there always there for you. A true friend is a person is someone who your comfortable to tell anything and there their if you in trouble or you need there help.

  8. If I were president Obama I would get congress to pass a law that would lower college tuition rates. They are steady going up and it is detouring students from getting a higher education. I think that if tuition rates were lower, people could get through college, and we could make a better future for our country.

The best athlete of all time in my opinion is Michael Jordan. Based off of stats alone there has never been a better basketball player. Jordan not only was a basketball player but he also played baseball. To me he is a great role-model of determination and shows that if you follow your dreams you can get anywhere you want.

If I was on a deserted Island the book I would take with me would have to be the bible so that I could keep my sanity. I would have to take the CD Take Care by Drake because it is currently my favorite album. I would have to take my favorite movie Dear John just because I love it so much.

  9. Love is…
Love is something most people take for granted. Love is something that people give to one another as a gift. Love is a feeling of overwhelming emotion that most people can’t control. It is a feeling of happiness that no one can take away from you. Love is something that can never be forgotten, love lives within you!

If I went to a desert island and could take one book, one music CD, and one DVD, I would take.......
If I could take any book, it would be “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn”. I would take this book because it talks about the challenges that Huck and Jim had to go through and what they did to protect themselves. I think this book would help me have a mindset that I can do anything that I set my heart to. The one music/CD that I would take is the Awake CD by Skillet. Skillet is my favorite band and their songs let me know that I am not alone and if I need anyone, I can always count on god to be there. So if I were to be having trouble on this island, I could just look to god for help. If I could take one movie, it would have to be Fireproof. This is a Christian movie that has a different sense of what a love story is. It’s my favorite movie and I could just watch it over and over again!

You know someone is a true friend when....
You know someone is a true friend when they have your back when you need them. When they listen to you talk and are able to have a real conversation with them. You know someone is a true friend when they have the respect to not talk about others in front of you and when they don’t talk about you behind your back. You know someone is a true friend when they know you are upset or having some type of emotion, without you having to state it. Most of all, a true friend is someone you can count on no matter what, and don’t have to second guess yourself about being their friend.

  10. Question 1 - If I were President Obama I would request to be admitted into the Capital Building for an hour and spend that hour telling Congress to stop arguing and start working.

Question 3 - The best athlete of all time is/was Brad Funk because he is an amazing sailor and at the Orange Bowl Youth Regatta, he was just playing around at the front of the fleet in a significantly faster boat. It was impressive and annoying at the same time.

Question 5 - You know someone is a true friend when they are willing to change their schedule around to hang out with you to fit your schedule.

  11. Question 2: Love is when you know you can count on that person to help you through any struggle, love is when you wouldn't trade that person for the whole world, that is my opinion on love.

Question 3: i really dont know much about sports in general but my favorite football player is Troy Polamalu from the Pittsburgh Steelers. he is #43. i dont just love how he plays the sport but i love his attitude. and that means more to me than how well they play.

Question 5: I think that the true meaning of a friend is a person who would stand up for you no matter what even if it would make them look bad, i had a friend once who was scared to stand up for herself and when girls got mean she could see who her true friends where because they where the ones who stood up for her.

Question 3:To be honest while some might say Michael Jordan, the best basketball player ever is Bill Russel... 11 championships out fo 13 seasons. Ridiculous Ridiculous!!! HE is the FIRST and the LAST..#ENOUGH SAID!!!

Question 5: You know that person is a true friend when he/she is comfortable in silence, able to laugh even when your not funny, and someone you can trust to have your back no matter how bad they embarrass themselves :). True friends stay True and have the same enemies. They know each others strengths, weaknesses, and secrets. A TRUE friendship is long-lasting and not based of outward appearances, and are there to comfort in when the other is upset.
